A Weekend at the Lake

This weekend I went to visit Nana, Poppy, and Great-grandma Hanson. Nana and Poppy are leaving today to go visit Uncle Jon in Boston, so I was lonesome and wanted to see them before their big trip. I had a really nice time "walking the dogs," talking to great-grandma, and being outside with the birds and squirrels. Nana had fun feeding me cereal and I had bananas for the first time...yummy in my tummy!

Happy Independence Day!

We have been sick at our house lately. First I was sick, then Mommy, and now Daddy. Since none of us were feeling very good, we didn't do much celebrating over the Fourth of July. However, the night before, when Daddy got home from work, we went to a park in our town to check out the local celebration. We heard they were having a kids parade, concert, and fireworks. Mommy wanted to see what the kids parade was like, but it was over when we got there. We heard a song or two by the orchestra and then left because none of us felt real great. But we did stay long enough that we could get a few pictures of me in my patriotic outfit.

I also had carrots for the first time this week too. I like them...in fact I seem to like anything related to food...can you tell?? Then when we went to Walmart that evening and I ended up spitting them up all over Daddy!
